I’m delighted you’re here!

I’m an internationally published, bestselling psychological suspense author living in Western Australia, and this is my homebase for my readers - the place where I’ll be sharing news, events, great books, behind the scenes, and lots more! I’ll also be discussing the Big Ideas of contemporary culture: analysing stories, film and TV shows, asking questions about hot topics, and highlighting stories about the authors we all know and love.

I spent seven years studying for my PhD working on maternal relationships in dystopian fiction with young adult heroines, and I graduated from Curtin University in 2023 with a Vice Chancellor’s Commendation for my work. I’m passionate about portraying strong female characters in my stories, and I often incorporate contemporary cultural themes into my novels. I read across many genres, but with a particular affection for crime/suspense and dystopian fiction.

My latest novel, When She Was Gone, was released by Blackstone (US/Can) and HarperCollins (ANZ) in April 2025, and is available in print, ebook and audio. I’m also the author of the near-future acclaimed thriller The Hush, and suspense novels You Don’t Know Me, The Hidden Hours, All That is Lost Between Us, Shallow Breath, Beneath the Shadows and Come Back to Me. My novella, The Deceit, was first released as an Audible Original and is published by Blackstone in the US and Canada. Two of my novels have been optioned for television, and You Don’t Know Me was turned into a chart-topping crime podcast dramatisation by Listnr.
