I think that Option 5 is most compelling with Option 1 in second place for me. I love the vibe of Option 3, but think it leans more toward a promise of explicit horror rather than the more nuanced dark notes a la Du Maurier's Rebecca. And also, yay for reaching this stage! I can't wait to buy a new set for my bookshelf!! :)

You’re a legend, love this! Thank you for always being such a great support Xxx

I like option 2, the graphic images are a bit too plain to my eye and yes 3 says horror. Colours on all options are great!

Thanks Gillian! Some strong looks hey! Just trying to work in a few genre elements 🤞🏻

Option 5!! I also love Option 3, but I would be expecting horror from that 😃

Lots of love for Option 5 and yes 3 sadly does have a horror vibe which is a shame as the covers as so cool!

Can’t seem to vote, but option 2 is awesome! Love how it has the haunting images juxtaposed on bright colours to entice you in. Definitely my favourite by far

Sara Foster's avatar

I love the bright colour options too!

I like option 1, but would go with the titles in the same colour as the are in 5, 4 and 2!

Thanks Jodi!

Option five for me. Clean, the colours pop, and the images are nice and big so you can see them from across the room

Yes this is one of the strongest I think - lots of people agree with you!

Option 5 all the way. Option 1 was my second choice. Contemporary, eye catching and unique

I love these too!

Oh I LOVE option 2! Really striking colours, and with an edge without being too dark (ie. 3 leans toward horror, imo). My next choice would be option 5. These are all great though! Have fun choosing xx

Thanks Kim! Really value your opinion!

I like Option 1 and Option 3. I preferred Come Back to me from Option 3. Both options, the titles pop and stand out.

Thanks loads, I value your artistic eye!

Option 5, but maybe without the taglines? I’m not sure readers look at those, I’m more likely to flip over and read the blurb instead.

Sara Foster's avatar

Thanks Katia, really appreciate your input - will check out the taglines further.

I like the stylised look of option 5, with option 2 (quite haunting) in second place. For some reason, having your name and the title together is more appealing to my eye …

Sara Foster's avatar

Thanks so much Joanna, I'm liking that name and title together too!

I agree with Kelli. I like option 1,2 or 3, but not so keen on 4.

Also just wanted to say, my grandad in Scotland enjoyed your books. I always used to send them over to him

Before he passed away and my friend also likes them.

Was just about to purchase one to take back for her christmas

Thanks so much for taking the time to give me your feedback, Louise. And how lovely about your granddad in Scotland enjoying my books, this means such a lot to me. So appreciate you buying one for your friend for Christmas too - really hope she enjoys it!

Option 3 is interesting, but makes me think the books are horror. The only one I really didn't like is 4, which looks cartoonish.

Sara Foster's avatar

Yes, we had that 'they're great but slightly horror' reaction too - but can probably work this up (4 isn't getting much love so you're not alone!). Hope you're going well, lovely to see your name pop up xx
